Couse Objective:

      經過時代演變,易經已從占卜預測工具,轉變為一套涵蓋以轉變為一套涵蓋以及解釋所有事物發生、運作、轉變的分析模型。本課程介紹易經基本理論體系,強調資訊科學在古代與網路時代易學的位置與角色。經由學習易經象數與義理,了解事物變化關係與演變,並養成獨立思考的處世智慧。經由二進制編碼排序分析;卜卦演算法操作;及機率分析,了解資訊科學與易經架構及占卦的關係。經由課程專題,奠定進一步學習與推廣易經科學的基礎。

 

      After thousands of year evolution, I Ching divination has transformed into a model to analyze and explain the changes of all things. This course introduces the basic theory of the I Ching system, with emphasis on the information science in the ancient age, and the role of I Ching in the Internet age. By investigating on text content and images of I Ching, students are expected to understand the time-space relationship and the evolution of changes. The topics introduced includes: the binary encoding schemes of Hexagram order; the divination algorithms; the probability analysis of various divination metheds.  The term project is expected to establish the capability for further I Ching Informatics study and promotion.

 

Grading:

   Class Participation (2 SLS Post x 5%): 10% + Bonus

       Post 1 : Simplified Divination Trial

       Post 2 : Project Proposal

Interpretation on Hexgrams and Lines - Collaborated Note: 20%

Midterm Exam: 35%

Term Project (Survey/Implementation): 35%
